We currently offer a Scratch and a Minecraft Education teaching pack. In each pack, we support your students with clear slides, compelling videos and logical instructions. This way they get the hang of the most important programming concepts, and they gradually learn computational thinking in no time at all! We provide you, the teacher, with a crystal-clear manual that will guide you through the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the lessons.

But have you already heard of Coach CoDi?
Coach CoDi is our digital co-teacher who analyses Scratch code and provides students with real-time feedback that is also tailored to each of your students. This way they will be guided through the creative and challenging assignments in the CodeCosmos story which will make them more self-reliant in class.
Thanks to the engaging storytelling and cool graphic designs, your students will be completely immersed in the CodeCosmos story. In didactically well-founded lessons, your students will learn how to code games, carry out a space mission and master the most important concepts of coding and computational thinking. Why wouldn’t you want to do that? Let’s begin our space expedition!
We developed digital co-teacher Coach CoDi In collaboration with Ghent University, who will support your students while they are making Scratch exercises. Coach CoDi will guide the CodeCosmosians in the right direction so they can successfully complete all the assignments. This way, as a teacher, you have an assistant that can answer pupils’ questions and that helps you focus on teaching.
Throughout the series, the concepts of computational thinking and the basic principles of programming are covered. These include sequence, the various repetition structures (loops) and the types of choice structures (selections). Your students will return from space as (nearly) fully-fledged coders. Ready, launch, go!
Your students need no prior knowledge of programming when they start their space journey with CodeCosmos. Throughout the missions, your students will learn the different concepts of programming and computational thinking. These are all integrated into the adventures of the space crew who will support your students. After completing all the missions, your students will have mastered the programming basics!
Each lesson is structured in a similar way. First, we repeat the material from the previous lessons.
Afterwards, the pupils watch a video about the mission they will be accomplishing. If a new concept is applied, the theoretical part is followed by a demo and an unplugged exercise. Then the pupils get to work on the programming assignment.
The lesson concludes with a quiz. For the fast learners, there are extra exercises so you can always finish the lesson together.

CodeCosmos stems from CodeFever NPO and FTRPRF. Our organisations create and give programming lessons that cover all aspects of computational thinking.
During the corona lockdowns, we continued to specialise in digitalising our lesson packs that we are now launching via CodeCosmos. These lessons, which were thoroughly tested by hundreds of children, are tailored to the international market.
To create our teaching packs, we have collaborated with Ghent University.
For instance, in the development of Coach CoDi. This revolutionary tool analyses Scratch code in real time and provides students with tailored feedback in order to make them more self-reliant while making the Scratch exercises. This provides the teacher with a digital assistant that allows them to focus more intently on their students’ questions.
